STUDIO POLICIES
Fees are paid monthly in advance. Non-payment by the first lesson of the month removes a student from the roster and makes their slot available to new students. Should the student wish to be placed back on the calendar they will be liable for another enrolment fee. Repeated infringements will either mean permanent removal from the calendar or a permanent admin fee of R250 levied each month (additional to regular tuition fees).
4 lessons are billed for each month. In the event of a 5 week month, no lessons are given in the 5th week. Lessons will resume automatically in the first week of the new month.
Advanced cancellations more than 24 hrs before the lesson enables you to request a catch up lesson, but this is entirely at your teacher’s discretion.
In the event of non-attendance for a lesson without prior notice, the lesson is forfeit.
A calendar month’s written notice is needed for discontinuing lessons.
MusicBug has the right to discontinue lessons for students who consistently fail to attend lessons with little or no notice or for consistent late payment of fees.
Non-payment due to a student’s holidays is deemed as termination of lessons. Payment needs to be made in order to keep the lesson slot - holidays can be discussed with your teacher and catch up lessons arranged. In the event of non-payment for a month (termination of lessons), students wishing to sign up again will be liable for the enrolment fee.
In order to avoid any misunderstandings, all communication for anything other than cancelling a lesson is done via email to info@musicbug.co.za
Students must access their material via the website as hard copies will not be provided.

Private individual lessons are R900 per month
All lessons are 30 minutes. Should students wish longer lessons, an additional 30 minutes (per week or per month) may be purchased.
Lessons are given in our studios or online
Students may use the studio instruments but are advised to have their own in order to practice at home.
